One of the absolute best parts of being a newborn photographer is getting to see your sweet babies come back for milestone sessions. I’m so lucky to not just photograph your little ones when they’re brand new, but to watch them grow and change throughout their first year. Their little features change so much in that first year! It truly feels like being a small part of your family’s journey—and it’s one of the most rewarding parts of my job!

There’s something incredibly special about welcoming a baby back into the studio after their newborn session. I still remember how they looked curled up in those tiny wraps, fresh and new and oh-so-sleepy. And then—suddenly—they’re back, sitting up, flashing gummy smiles, clapping their hands, or even taking those first wobbly steps.

Milestone sessions typically occur around 3, 6, 9, and 12 months, and each one captures a whole new stage of personality and development. 12 month milestones can even involve a cake or even a steak! From tummy time and chubby rolls to toothy grins and big belly laughs, these sessions are full of joy and discovery. It’s amazing how much changes in such a short time!

I also love how these sessions give us a chance to recreate some of your favorite poses or bring in special props that show just how much your baby has grown. Sometimes we’ll even place them in the same basket or wrap from their newborn session—and wow, what a transformation!

I have a variety of backdrops to use and we can personalize to fit your baby’s personality. I even have a selection of outfits to make it convenient for you. No need to worry about your baby spitting up on their outfit on the way over and I will take care of the laundering afterwards.
